General Advice Service

Legal issues covered by the Centre

The Centre can provide written advice on problems concerning

  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Freehold and leasehold disputes
  • Employment issues
  • Consumer transactions
  • Personal injury and medical negligence issues
  • Contracts

Limitations of the Centre

The Centre welcomes enquiries from members of the public, College staff and students but cannot assist any person wishing to pursue a claim against the College, its governors, employees or current students. It also cannot assist any person whose claim may result in a conflict of interest for the supervising law firms.

The Centre reserves the right not to give advice in any particular case. In the event of the Centre being unable to help, the staff will try to refer enquiries to other possible sources of help.

Please call for an appointment - we do not offer drop-in advice.
